The 2023 netball clinics, presented by the TuksNetball team with Jenny van Dyk, were a resounding success.
Over 3600 girls and 500 coaches and teachers from more than 80 schools participated in the clinics, which were hosted by Camp Discovery.
The clinics covered a lot of netball information on coaching & playing.
New tactics and skills were developed to prepare the girls for the upcoming 2023 season to play at their very best & to be in top form in competition.
Camp Discovery is proud on an amazing job done by their team in preparing all the netball fields to ensure the absolute best experience in developing and practising all the new skills and tactics presented and taught by the TuksNetball team.
The clinics' theme was "See Us Fly," which was well-represented throughout the program. The TuksNetball team celebrated its 75th anniversary at all the clinics, and the students and coaches attending were treated to an array of amazing moments.
Camp Discovery and TuksNetball once again delivered camps that will be remembered long after the clinics ended. The students enjoyed special moments created in the Syringa hall, with visiting artists, line dancing from our world-class facilitators, and spectacular light shows.
The girls also got a true African experience by going on game drives and seeing the resident flock of Greater Flamingos, as well as the beautiful game encountered on the route like Giraffe, Zebra, and a whole lot of different antelope species.
Overall, the coaches and players had an incredible time and they are now geared up for a superb netball season ahead of them.
